$400.00$450.00

CUSTOMERS MUST COME TO THE FARM (NO HOME DELIVERIES) – Fitrah Farm Address – 19272 Lovers Lane Gordonsville, VA 22942

We sell lambs and goats on the farm throughout the year and also for Eid Adha, Qurbani, Udhiyah, and Aqiqah.

~This is a goat that has a live weight that is between 65 – 75 lbs.

All the goats are raised on pasture, healthy, free from disease, managed on our family-farm and will be at least 6 months to 18 months old.

After you place your order online, and pick a date you will come to the farm and pick out your live lamb. You have the option to slaughter and process your own meat, take the live animal with you, or we can process and clean the animal for you. You have the option of keeping all parts of the animal that you want or we can discard whatever you don’t want. This includes head, organs, feet, fat, spleen, goat or sheep skin, and left over bones. We can clean the tripe for an additional $15.

***If you plan to slaughter yourself on the farm then you will also need to bring a SHARP 5″ or 6″ boning knife, knife sharper, and 1 metal hacksaw with 1 new blade (Home Depot, less than $10), (1) box of ziplock 2-gallon freezer bags, (4) unscented clean garbage bags, and a large cooler with (4) 10 lb bags of ice.

We will be setting up appointments to prevent overcrowding at the farm. You will choose the date at checkout. There will be a limited number of families that can visit during the month.

Once you place your order online you will receive a separate email giving more details about your purchase, the exact location of the farm, and be able to set the time for your visit. If you order other items in the same cart as your Whole Lamb or Goat you will also pick those items up during your visit (Choose Fitrah Farms as local pick up location).

*************Qurbani/ Udiyah ONLY**************

We want to give you the best experience visiting our farm for this very special occasion for the 1st & 2nd day of Eid. This year we are expecting the slaughter to take place on June 16th (Sunday), and June 17th (Monday). This is assuming the moon is sighted on June 15th (Saturday). You can stay and enjoy being at Fitrah Farms for the day between 9 am – 5 pm. There will be 4 time slots per hour for slaughtering between the times of 9 am – 5 pm.

We will perform the Eid prayer on the farm at 8:00 am so that anyone who has an early scheduled time for the slaughter can pray before their slaughter time. There will be picnic tables and shaded areas provided for you to picnic/bbq (bring your own food & supplies). Because of limited space, we ask that you only bring your immediate family to the farm unless your friends/extended family members have also reserved a Qurbani.

There will be a restroom, washing station and an outside prayer area. You will find grassy areas but also muddy areas inside the animal fencing so please plan appropriate for your family (i.e. boots, no heels). We have very friendly farm animals that you might find roaming around since most are free range (goats, goat kids, horses, cows, calf, ducks, chickens, chicks, geese, rabbits, quails, turkeys livestock guardian dogs, puppies, and cats ). There will be supervised archery in the camping area, playground, trampoline, and a ninja obstacle course. Bee hives are located in the garden area within the fencing, and a pond with a small fishing boat is there for you to explore if you like. We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces on this special occasion. AlhamduliAllah.
